Made of compressed charcoal (no wood casing) allowing maximum drawing material and bold rich tonal values. Smooth blending and strong pigmentation — excellent for sketching large areas, achieving depth in tonal values and expressive mark-making. Lacquered coating on each pencil for clean handling and comfortable grip; both broad strokes and fine lines possible depending on angle of application. Compatible with standard sharpeners, blades or sandpaper-blocks for sharpening.
